About Vyshyvanka Association | Vyshyvanka Day in Canada

Vyshyvanka Association (also known as Toronto Vyshyvanka Day) is a not-for-profit organization and a member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Toronto Branch. Its main goal is to promote and support Ukrainian culture and traditions across Canada by organizing various cultural, educational, and entertainment events.

We define our mission as:

Uniting all generations and waves of Ukrainians in Canada;
Promoting and popularizing vyshyvanka, traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirt;
Advancing political outreach by engaging elected officials at all levels, fostering awareness of Ukrainian heritage, and strengthening support for Ukrainian Canadian priorities.
